How do I register for ASEP online courses through the AFCA Coaches Education Program?

To register for ASEP courses, click here or on the Courses tab on the home page. You'll be directed to the Continuing Education for Coaches store on the Human Kinetics Web site, where you register for and take your courses.

MSU Coaching Football Technical and Tactical Skills

Note that you’ll actually be receiving CEUs from two sources: Michigan State University (MSU) and the Michigan Department of Education (MDE).

After you complete your course, you will be prompted to complete an MSU CEU application form. You’ll e-mail your completed form to MSU who will forward it to the Michigan Department of Education. MSU will e-mail you a course completion certificate and MSU CEU documentation. MSU will also send you an e-mail containing a link to the MDE Web site, where you will complete a short course summary and evaluation. At that point you’ll be granted your MDE CEUs.

How do I receive continuing education units?

Do I get a discount for being an AFCA member?

Yes, you do receive discounts as an AFCA member: $55 off the price of MSU Coaching Principles and $50 off Coaching Football Technical and Tactical Skills. To receive the discount, visit the members-only section of the AFCA Web site to access course discount codes. When purchasing your course, enter the appropriate course discount code in the promo code field on your shopping cart page.

How do I join the AFCA?

Joining the AFCA is simple. Click here to access the AFCA membership application. Print and complete the form and mail or fax it to AFCA with your membership dues. The AFCA accepts personal or school checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Purchase orders are not accepted. If you have any membership-related questions, e-mail Membership@AFCA.com or call 254-754-9900 and ask for Membership Services.

How do I print a certificate of course completion after I've completed an ASEP course?

To print a certificate of course completion, visit the Human Kinetics Education Center Web site at www.HumanKinetics.com/Education-Center. Then select View My Transcript. The courses you have taken will appear on the next screen with a printer icon next to each course title. Click the icon to print your certificate.
